SWEEPING THE LAKE WITH THE
LATEST TECHNOLOGY: THE BLUEROV2
Measuring 72 miles in circumference and 1644 ft. deep, Lake Tahoe is quite a large body of water to cover. Although it is also very clear, the vast depths of the lake reach a chilling temperature of 39 degrees, making it humanly impossible to divers to fully discover what the base of the lake has to offer. Fortunately, by using the latest remote operated vehicle technology offered by the Blue Robotics team, BlueROV2 has made the unthinkable a possibility.
Equipped with multi-directional thrusters, live HD camera, four dimmable lumen lights, as well as many other features, the BlueROV2’s capabilities fit our exact needs restoring the Lake Tahoe waters. It is also accompanied with attachments such as a gripper, or carry a payload, allowing our efforts to clean the debris that lies within the lake to be unhindered.
